"As an artist, I am challenged daily by the process of creating my own personal narrative, a narrative which defines my personal reality. This personal reality is by its very nature somewhat ambiguous. For me the process of creating something new is one of constant questioning that may involve countless trials and revisions of the work in process; sometimes this process results in work that satisfies my goals and sometimes not. What is most important is the process itself, a process that ultimately is one of personal discovery."
